Before we even meet for our first session, we’ll have already had a 20 minute chat about your challenges and goals.
At the start of each session we will discuss the plan for the session and where we want you to be by the end.
People sometimes have the idea they will be asleep or unaware of what’s happening while in hypnosis – but that’s not the case.
Hypnosis is a state where the brain is highly focused and highly relaxed at the same time. This creates a condition where change can happen very quickly.
Throughout the whole process your mind will be alert and active. And you’ll remember as much as you would from any normal conversation.
It’s a guided process and it’s also quite interactive. I will be guiding you through a number of processes to make the changes that you want – but it’s you that making those changes!
Some people feel a lovely floaty feeling, like they are floating comfortably on air. Other people have this deep, relaxing feeling, like they are melting in to the chair.
Of course this feeling isn’t why people come to see me – they come because they want to change something in their lives. It’s just a big plus that it’s an interesting experience that feels great.
What we work on during the session depends on what you’ve told me you want in our initial conversation. I use proven techniques which are then fully customised for your needs and goals.
